Re: Help With Fictional Colleges

Being from Chandler, AZ area, I just don't see Chandler having a large enough college to perform on the national stage. That is kind of the story with most of Arizona. A lot of the cities in the Valley didn't have much population until about 40-50 years ago.

This is something I did not know and would be good information to know when figuring out locations of Arizona schools so thank you for that. And also, do you know any locations where I could put schools in Arizona?

The locations I would need help with consists of any U.S. state that isn’t Alaska, Hawaii, California, Nevada, The Dakotas, Arkansas, and the New England region.

Definitely a Phoenix area school. Maybe Tucson, Flagstaff or Prescott for a second (or third) one

I have 2 in Phoenix, 1 in Flagstaff, and 1 in Tucson as well as 1 in Yuma. I might also add a school in Prescott as well.

Make sure you get plenty of coverage for the Chicagoland Area, the Midwest, and the south. All of those are pretty big football markets. Also, for such a large population, it seems kinda weird you skimped on the Inland Empire/Coachella Valley.

I was already thinking of putting a lot of schools in the midwest and the south. I also put more schools in the Inland Empire when I realized the area had a population of 4.6 million people but also a lot of the larger populated areas in the Inland Empire also were incorporated and also have gotten larger within the last 60-70 years.

I would not do 6 schools in AZ. I mean your goal to have 300+ teams seems hefty for your first thread to begin with considering your schools would outnumber the site's users 2 to 1. If you want to be unique in the AZ market, Lake Havasu and Sedona would be good options that have decent arguments for a school outside of population. One school would survive in Phoenix so if you really want two in the Valley I'd suggest moving one slightly. Mesa is the most logical option, but it isn't different enough from Phoenix to do anything besides be a smaller carbon copy. Scottsdale would be unique.
