I got a feeling that's what's gonna happen, so Gritty's just gonna pick out his favorite...and I'll like it.

Gritty made like the right and demanded a recount!
Well, it’s been a while hasn’t. I like the Thunderbirds identity, but I’m interested with the Toronto Talons, i’m curious what you guys can come up with for TT.

Time for the final group 5 names!
I didn't want to delay any more than we have had to so here are the names (no graphic)
MEXICO CITY JAGUARS (JAGUARES)
Nominated by Stickman, BDoof and KingsFan. I think the 2 eagles submissions split the final vote but the Jags were the heavy favorite. Should make for a unique identity for sure. The AltLB officially welcomes a brand new nation to the universe!
PORTLAND STAGS
Definitely the chalk choice. Paying homage to the famous Portland White Stag sign. The Stags were popular in each stage of this vote. The Stags won with 44% of the vote. Stags was nominated by Section30, JamHeronArk, ThisIsFine, SportsFan and Steelman.
MEMPHIS KINGS
This identity can take the direction of the designer. Name nominators referenced MLK and Elvis as inspirations to draw from. The Kings won with 44% of the vote. They were nominated by Dan OMac, BDoof, Darknes, KingsFan.
SAN DIEGO PANDAS
Definitely an interesting choice. Looking forward to what comes from this. The Pandas won with 34% of the vote and were nominated by KingsFan, ThisIsFine, Darknes.
TAMPA BAY TURTLES
In a historic four way tie we had to go to a sudden death cage match. In this final round the Turtles came out victorious by a healthy margin. The Turtles were nominated by Dan O'Mac.

I wonder if TMNT was already created by the time the Tampa Bay Turtles played their inaugural season.

Yes...TMNT might have been created by the time some of the '80s teams played their inaugural season.
The comic was first published in '84, the classic cartoon premiered in '87 and the first movie came out in '90...so, much like the Toronto Raptors, I imagine the Tampa Bay Turtles name was chosen to cash in on the Ninja Turtles' huge popularity.

Let's get voting on the final set of names. After this we will be ready to move on to the logo round of the largest Alt sports build project to date.

Shouldn't Spirits be out for Vancouver because of the AltBA's Louisville Spirits?

It should, that was my original name but discarded it due to Louisville
