Again, the expansion teams will be drafting in the 1 and 2 spots. This does not factor in any trades that have been made. The number listed after the team is how much of their budget the team used.

Alright, now it's time to determine WHEN the Milwaukee Mallards will kick off the AltFL Free Agency Draft. The Due Date on responses will be Thursday, August 28th at 9pm Eastern Time. This will allow me that night to enter draft pick trades I can't do until the draft date is set if we choose Friday.
Go to this When2Meet to enter your availability and I will choose the time with the least number of people unavailable. You can choose not to fill it out, and then you'll just go with the group!

Following the off-season which saw us draft Tight End Harold Fannin and Running Back Dylan Sampson, bolstering our team with free agents such as Wide Receiver Christian Kirk and Defensive Back Donovan Wilson, and trade additions Wide Receiver Jayden Reed and Running Back Tank Bigsby, YOUR New York Emperors are ready for 2025. After two down years barely missing the playoffs, the Cyclones roared back and won the Central Division, but we ultimately fell in the first round of the playoffs. Most of that cast is coming back to run it back with a few new faces, but we'll be facing a tough test in the opening week on the road against the reigning champion Tennessee Copperheads. One of the returning faces is second-year QB Caleb Williams, who is looking to improve upon a fairly solid rookie season. We'll be in our alternate road uniforms to start the year, wearing red helmets, white jerseys, and red pants.

We'll be wearing our black home uniforms for this one! Led by a very different and younger roster, the Sabercats hope to finally make the playoffs for the first time in team history!

A new season of AltFL action is upon us! The Seattle Steelheads are looking to build upon a semifinal appearance last season. We start this year in much the same way we did last year: by taking on the Scorpions. This time, though, we're in Arizona, and it's also a divisional rivalry again thanks to the realignment this offseason. Leading the team onto the field will be QB Jordan Love, who threw for 2,724 yards and 21 touchdowns in the 2024 regular season. #GoDeep

The 2025 AltFL season is upon us, and San Diego is ready to bounce back from an awful campaign last year. Week 1 sends the Destroyers across the country to face the New York Emperors, and all eyes are on fourth-year quarterback Brock Purdy, who is tasked with steering this team back toward playoff contention and proving that 2024 was just a stumble, not a step backward. We’ll be suiting up in our road set of the navy helmets, white jerseys, and white pants, and are determined to set the tone early and show that the Destroyers are ready to rise again. #WaveOfDestruction

The Steelheads opened 2025 in style with a big win over the rival Scorpions. It was a bit of a tough go for our new-look offense, but luckily, our defense really stepped up. The biggest mark was left by DL Nick Bosa, who finished off a six-tackle day with a strip sack and fumble recovery to seal the win. Now we get to open up our home schedule against the St. Louis Explorers. The Explorers will have to travel 1,725 miles to reach Microsoft Edge Stadium, so we'll try to make it worth their while - except for the part on the field, where we'll of course try to move to 2-0 on the year. #GoDeep

The Copperheads got quite the rude awakening to start their title defense, as we took the lead and never looked back to get our first win on the year. We continue south on the road to take on the Galactics, who took down our division rival St Louis Explorers as they look to get back into the playoffs this year. Our offense improved upon its success from last year, which included a massive game from third-year wideout Zay Flowers, who caught 7 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown while getting another 8 yards on two carries. We'll be back in the standard road set, swapping out the maroon pants for the tan ones.
