The Angels wanted to make a statement against QCS, and they sure did that, winning by nearly triple digits in our first game of conference play. Every game is important from here on out, with every SV team still within a single game of each other, and our next task will be defeating a tough Panhandle team on the road in the great(?) state(?) of Florida(?). We'll be missing some key pieces this week, as both of our top two running backs are away from the team, but fortunately, we had some great performances from new faces in last week's game. Chief among them was WR Eric McAlister, who totaled 170 yards and a touchdown in his first JIU start. #HeardOnHigh #SouthernVFootball #TheMatterIsSimplyOfGreaterImportance

Another week, another loss for the St. Laurent Patriotes. With this one, we fall to 2-4 on the season. No worries, though, we were in this same situation last year and look what happened! Anyway, we continue our road trip and head down to New Orleans to take on Nouvelle France. The Musketeers defeated us in the (French) Heritage Bowl last year, so we’re looking to even things up. We are wearing the same set of uniforms as last week, and we are highlighting running back Kimani Vidal for the second time in 3 weeks because he went off again, this time getting three rushing touchdowns along with 245 rushing yards. #GoPatsGo #FrenchHeritageClash

Put the Stegos on the Sickos Watch, as we just took down the lone undefeated team in the nation in Minnesota A&M. BEVEL IT! Staying at home, we begin conference play as Hawaii State comes to the Kidd, where we will have to win to even have a slim chance at winning the Super West, as we are somehow not eliminated from winning. RB Peny Boone was a major contributor to the win, rushing for 129 yards and two TD's to get us the upset W. We return to wearing the standard home sets of purple-green-white-purple to end our brief homestand. #BringTheBoom

The Rebels got a big win last week over MIU. This week, we are heading to California to take on Playa. RB Cody Schader had a big game last week and we will be hoping for more from him this week as we look to secure a bowl game. That one's tough to swallow. It was always going to be tough goings without our top two running backs, but Florida Panhandle really decided they wanted to make a statement last week, beating us by 80 points. We'll be much closer to full strength this week, and that's a good thing, because we've reached perhaps the biggest game on the calendar: St. Brendan's. We get to play host this year, and naturally, we're going Holy White for the Holy War to force the Navs into their teal jerseys. It'll be the first Holy War for new QB Seth Henigan, who has put up consistently strong numbers since taking over under center. #HeardOnHigh #HolyWar

Well, things were working for the Jellyfish offense, and Florida Panhandle comes away with a big win in their conference opener over Johns Island. We look to build on that as we head to Texas to take on Lone Star. We're wearing the standard road uniforms in this one, as we look to move to 2-0 in the conference. Hawaii State had nearly everything go right for them to win the conference last week. Riel beat Playa, and... wait a second, we didn't beat Southern Colorado? The one thing we could do ourselves to win the conference, and we didn't do it? Well, that's unfortunate. Now, we can win the conference with a win and a Southern Colorado loss to Ohio A&M. But really, we control our own destiny. We win and keep winning, and the Super West is ours to win. So let's do that. This week, we host the Wichita A&M team, and we're playing under the night lights on the beach, so we're getting out the blacks for this one. We're putting the ball in QB Drake Maye's hands, and he'll be throwing to Rome Odunze and featured player Xavier Restrepo in this one, as that's what Hawaii State does, sends the ball through the air. #FlyingHI

St. Laurent was defeated by Nouvelle France again, leaving us at a 2-5 record and one loss away from being eliminated from bowl contention. Despite the challenges ahead, we must stay positive as we head home to face our conference rivals, Hershey. We highlight our junior transfer wide receiver, Jacolby George, who had an impressive performance with 125 receiving yards and a touchdown in last week's loss. By the way, we will wear our standard Navy-Navy-Navy-Red home set for this crucial game. #GoPatsGo

Wait, we can score points? WE CAN WIN GAMES!!! After proving our wins were no fluke by upsetting Super West leader Hawaii State (and forever winning over the hearts of Sickos everywhere), the Stegos are still mathematically alive to win the conference and just need to win 2 out of our last 3 conference games to become bowl-bound. We hit the road to take a break from all the tough opponents to take on the 1-6 Ohio A&M Fightin' Muskrats. Just because they are under .500 does not mean we shouldn't take them seriously, as our last 3 opponents have learned. One of the biggest reasons for our scoring revival is junior WR Tez Walker, who was out for the first half of the season after being declared ineligible by this entity known as the "NCAA". We all know he did nothing wrong. In his second game back, he caught for 132 yards and 3 TD's while also gaining 19 yards on the ground. We will wear the typical road sets of purple-white-purple-green for this "western" matchup. #BringTheBoom

The Rebels have been on a roll with 3 straight wins. We clinched a bowl appearance with the win over Playa last weekend. This week we are taking on our rivals in the Twin Cities Lakers. WR Sam Pinckney has been a solid addition to the team and is showing off the Rebels' classic home uniforms that we are using this week as we look to keep pace in the very competitive Heartland Conference. #TheRIELDeal #Rebels2023 #RIELvsUTC

Florida Panhandle came up big, notching a win against Lone Star last week to become bowl eligible. We can get a step closer to winning the conference, and winning out will best set us up for that. We're at home this week as we take on the bayou boys, with a chance to pull into a tie for first in the conference on the line for us. We're going to wear the standard home uniforms in this one, as we go with the sapphire helmets, sapphire jerseys, and mint pants. Our featured player is wide receiver Steven McBride, coming off his best week as a Jellyfish. #UnderTheSea
Another disappointing loss this week, as the Hawks drop a game to the 29ers. We're a game up on Southern Colorado in the Super West, so we still control our own destiny in our quest to win the conference. We'll be at home again this week for the last time, as we host conference foes Ohio A&M. The Fightin' Muskrats come out to the beach, and we look to pick up win number 6. We're featuring wide receiver Malik Washington this week, as number 4 has been a key part of the offence in recent weeks. We're in the white helmets, white jerseys and white pants for this one. #FlyingHI
