New Orleans Zydeco: I just like the word zydeco. Kinda harkens back to the Jazz, too.
Washington Judges: Normally, judges preside over a different kind of court, but I think the judicial branch deserves more love in the sports world.
Vancouver Cannons: Named for the 9 O'Clock Gun.
Atlanta Beat: A different spin (get it?) on the hip hop idea. It's not quite Records, but, y'know.
Los Angeles Pobladores: The original settlers of the pueblo that went on to become LA.
Charlotte Fortunes: Pulled this name from the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence. Look it up if you want, or just let QCS tell you about it.

New Orleans Gators - because there alligators in those bayous
Vancouver Orcas - Because there's Orca whales in the ocean there
Los Angeles Mammoths - Found in the La Brea Tar Pits, which are located in the city
Washington Commanders - The POTUS lives in Washington, the Commander-in-Chief. The Pentagon is in Washington, where the military commanders would be.
Atlanta Red Wolves - Located all around the area, they went nearly extinct but are making a comeback.
Charlotte Pirates - because on the coastal area of North Carolina there were pirates, and Charlotte's in North Carolina (love you QCS!)
