Game 1: Determined to win after last years defeat, the Vulcans came out firing and won game 1, 4-1
Game 2: In a back and forth game, the Voyageurs tied the series up with a late 3rd period go ahead goal.
Game 3: With the series heading back to Minneapolis tied, the Vulcans fed off of the supporters and took back the series lead.
Game 4: The Voyageurs, on the verge of losing the series, tightened things up defensively, only allowing 1 Vulcan goal, while scoring 3 and sending the series back to Duluth.
Game 5: Prior to game 5, Lou Tschida addressed his team and told them that whatever happens, he had made the decision to retire after the game. With this in mind, the teams took the ice. Things did not go the way the Vulcans had hoped however, after allowing 2 goals in the first period. Things didn't get much better as the game went on, Duluth was just too much for them to handle and they were unable to come back. The Duluth Voyageurs have become only the second team to win back to back Kellogg Cups!

Prior to the 1929/30 season, the league welcomed its newest franchise, the Minneapolis Bruins. The team was founded when a group of men decided to form a team due to Minneapolis's large population and only having one and a half teams. The name Bruins was decided on based on that years Stanley Cup champions, the Boston Bruins. The team said they "want to adopt the Bruins success, and transfer bring it to Minneapolis". The Bruins logo is based on the original Boston Bruins logo, but is different enough to be their own team. The team colors are also adopted from Boston, brown and gold.

The 1929/30 season concluded and here are the stories.
Iron Range Hockey League: The Eveleth Reds finished at the top of the Iron Range for the second year in a row, their in city rivals, the Rangers, finished at the opposite end of the table. Ely, Hibbing and Virginia rounded out the top 4 and qualified for the playoffs. Chisholm just missed, and the Soudan Miners finally made it out of the basement of the league finishing sixth.
Lake Superior Hockey League: The Voyageurs finished at the top of the league again, and they look like they could be a serious threat for a third straight cup. The Timberwolves and Hornets finished second and third. Cloquet clinched the final playoff spot with a losing record, and the Lakers missed the playoffs.
Twin Cities Hockey League: South St. Paul took back the top spot in the league, due in part to a very physical style of play that shuts down the opponent. The Victorias, Saints, and Vulcans also made the playoffs. The Vulcans, in their first year without Tschida, took a step back and don't seem to be as dominant as they have been in recent history. The Minneapolis teams just missed the playoffs and the A's finished last in the league again.

Game 2: Game two was all Duluth, with Le Bleus only allowing 12 shots against in the 2-0 victory.
Game 3: With Duluth up 2-0 and the series heading to Duluth, the Reds had their backs to the wall. They managed to squeak out a 3-2 overtime win and make the series interesting.
Game 4: The Voyageurs were able to bounce back though, completely dominating the Reds in a 3-0 shutout win.
Game 5: Back at home, the Reds took advantage of home ice and put up the most goals of any team this series with 4, forcing a game 6 back in Duluth.
Game 6: The Voyageurs offense was unstoppable as they skated circles around Eveleth's D, scoring 4 and only allowing 1. The Duluth Voyageurs have completed the three-peat and solidified themselves as a dynasty!

Prior to the 1930/31 season there were a few alterations to a couple teams. The Eveleth Rangers removed the front numbers and replaced them with a larger version of their original E logo. Everything else had remained the same.
The Duluth Voyageurs, coming off of a third straight Championship, have decided to remind the rest of the league that they are, in fact, the champions. They decided to make a commemorative logo with their fleur de lis in the state of Minnesota with champions below. The new logo will be put on the left sleeve of the jersey, which remains otherwise the same.

The 1930/31 season concluded and here are the stories.
Iron Range Hockey League: The Eveleth Reds finished at the top of the Iron Range again. The Greyhounds are beginning to look like a serious contender after jumping to second in the league. Ely ad Virginia are beginning to slow down after years of dominance and finished third and fourth. Soudan is beginning to push for a playoff spot, only missing out by two games. Chisholm and the Rangers finished at the bottom of the league with 6 and 8 wins apiece.
Lake Superior Hockey League: There were no changes in positioning from last season, the Voyageurs continued to roll over everything and the rest of the league remained average at best.
Twin Cities Hockey League: South St. Paul remained at the top of the Twin Cities. The St. Paul Saints made the biggest jump of any team in the MAHL moving up to second place in the Cities. The Victorias finished third with the Vulcans dropping to the final playoff spot. A young Bruins team improved in their sophomore season, just missing the playoffs. The Millers and Stillwater were at the basement of the league again.

Game 1: The Wolves came out fast getting a quick go ahead goal, but the Reds were able to hold them after that, getting 2 themselves to take game 1.
Game 2: In game 2 the Reds were able to replicate their gameplay from the first game, as they shut down the T-Wolves and won 3-2.
Game 3: The series headed up to the shores of Lake Superior and was met with swarms of supporters, not only from Two Harbors, but from towns all across the region that didn't have their own team. The home ice advantage definitely played to the Wolves advantage as they turned things around and easily won the game 3-1.
Game 4: The Reds gave it everything they had to head back to Eveleth with a series lead, but the Timberwolves had other ideas. Stealing the game with a late comeback goal and finishing it in overtime.
Game 5: Back at home, the Reds put the smack down on Two Harbors, crushing them on the ice and on the scoreboard.
Game 6: With the series on the line, Two Harbors played some of the beast hockey of the season, dominating possession in the Reds zone, while allowing almost no chances against. They went on to win 2-0.
Game 7: In the final game of the series, the Reds were back on home ice, and they were hungry to hoist the cup after last years defeat. Eveleth ad Two Harbors were scoreless after 1, and when the Timberwolves scored 6:23 into the second, the pressure was all on the Reds. The Reds have thrived on pressure all season and all playoffs and that didn't change here. They countered with their own goal only 2 minutes later and added another before the period ended. They scored one more on the empty net at the end of the game and claimed their fist Kellogg Cup while on home ice!

With the depression beginning to make a larger impact on everyday people, The Minneapolis Bruins and Minneapolis Millers decided to merge their teams. Thus the Minneapolis Hockey Club was reborn! To save money the teams decided to use the black jerseys from the Millers and the white jerseys from the Bruins and just change to front logo to an arched Minneapolis with the players number below.
The Voyageurs also adjusted their uniforms, just removing the champions patch from the sleeve.
