Retired Numbers
The Edina Cake Eaters wasted no time retiring team legend Cole Nanne's #13 as soon as he announced his retirement during the 1988 offseason. Nanne played in the black and yellow for 17 years, from 1972 to 1988. He was instrumental in establishing Edina as one of the winningest teams in the MAHL, leading the Gold Domes to 9 WMHL titles, 13 Super Series appearances, and the teams only Kellogg Cup in 1979. Nanne was a prolific goal scorer and one half of the "Two Headed Monster" alongside fellow Edina great Ben Hankinson. Nanne retires as one of the MAHL's all time greats, tied with Hankinson for the second most Tschida Trophies (MAHL MVP) all-time with 3 (1974, 1977, & 1979).
The Roseau Stars also had a legend hang up the skates, #12 Isaac Broten. Broten was the face of the Stars for the past two decades, finishing his distinguished career as the MAHL's all-time leading goal scorer with 821 goals over his 23 year career. Isaac's best season came in 1970 when he led the MAHL in goals and led the Stars to their 3rd Kellogg Cup in team history, winning the only Tschida Trophy of his long and storied career.

The Baudette Walleye have decided to move on from their traditional chest stripe for the first time in team history, adopting a classic northwestern stripe style instead.

With North Mankato's move into a new arena, the River Bats decided to tweak their uniforms. The home set is almost untouched, just adjusting the hem stripes to follow the bottom of the jersey. Most of the changes are on the road set which inverts the stripes, changes the purple sleeves to purple shoulders, and changed the collar to silver.

The Owatonna Owls change up their uniforms for the first time, but it isn't a drastic change. The new home jersey is almost a blue version of their previous away, and their new road set changes the striping so white and gold no longer touch anywhere.

The Proctor Spikes make their first major change to their uniforms, changing up the striping a bit with yellow only touching black.
