Falcon Heights made their first changes when it comes to their look as they introduced new uniforms featuring a simplified version of their logo with Falcon Heights removed.
The big change for the Raptors was their uniforms which got a complete overhaul. Gone is the logo and bizarre number placement, replaced by a diagonal Raptors script at home and a Falcon Heights wordmark on the road. The simplified Raptor is moved to both shoulders and the striping is adjusted.

Fort Frances came out with a new stripe pattern for their uniforms, leaving the rest untouched with the exception of new laces and number outlines. This is the first time the Trappers have completely ditched the classic triple stripe.

Sioux City came out with a new set of uniforms that can best be described as an evolution of their original look. The striping is reduced on the sleeves with wheat on the top of the arm up until the player number on the sleeve. The road uniform reduces the amount of yellow to make their look more balanced overall. Their breezers also get an update, using a stripe on the side and bottom.

Expansion Teams
Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin is a city of over 12,000 located just north of River Falls. The Maroon and Gold will play their home games at 800 seat Chippewa Area Ice Arena. Chippewa Falls will be joining 6 other teams in the forming of a new league that we will get to later.
They will simply be called the "Chippewas" after the name of the town and the river that runs through it. Their logo is a script Chippewa Falls with a swooping tail in the teams colors of maroon and gold.

Menomonie, Wisconsin is also a town of over 12,000, it is also the home of the University of Wisconsin - Stout. The Saws will play their home games at 1,000 seat Dunn County Ice Arena, they are also set to join the new league along with Chippewa Falls.
They will be called the "Sawyers" in honor of the towns history in the lumber industry, even being home to the largest lumber firm in the world at one point. Their logo is a circular saw in the team colors of black and green with a stylized M for Menomonie in the center.

A new competitor emerges in the Iron Range, but will they be able to keep up with the MAHL's best? Hoyt Lakes is a small town with just over 3,000, but much like the rest of the Iron Range, they breath hockey. They already have a building ready, 900 seat Hoyt Lakes Arena.
They will be called the "Wolves" named after the apex predator native to Hoyt Lakes. Their logo is a roundel with a wolf howling at the moon in the center, their colors are red, white, and blue.

Background: Benchwarmer for Minneapolis Southwest when they won the state tourney in 1970. Nelson then went on to study journalism at the U of M before becoming a reporter covering local amateur hockey (High School, College, and MAHL).

Our final expansion team is set to join the Red River Hockey League this coming season. West Fargo is a city on the rise, currently at 10,000, bordering Fargo, ND. The Wasps become the third team from the state of North Dakota after Fargo and Grand Forks. They will play their home games at Veterans Memorial Arena which seats 600.
They will be called the "Wasps" and their colors are black and yellow. Their logo is a block W with black stripes meant to mimic that of a Wasp.
