Are we just going to not talk about all of the great marketing opportunities around some of these teams? Like:

Utah: Foam raptor claws. And this:

San Antonio: Inflatable trumpets, Hispanic murals around the stadium, and Calaveras stands.
Toronto: Wood styled floors in bars and free maple syrup at the gates. Plus, that beaver logo translates to a pretty mean foamhead.
Philly: Foam boxing gloves.

Those are just SOME suggestions.

Well, they fell to me. My thoughts on the team's name remain, but I couldn't pass up the chance for my hometown team. Now to get the Racers...

But in all seriousness, I was genuinely worried that fellow Carolinian ~Bear would take them (I even predicted it) but luckily he went with Seattle. By the time I was up to pick, the Reapers had risen to my #3, though I still had Kentucky, St. Louis, and San Antonio in my top 10 left. Speaking of, how on earth has SA not gone yet? I'm shocked nobody's gone for either of the Texas teams, actually.

Welp, now I have to rethink my wish list as ~Bear took my number one pick after seeing it fall so far. But that really is how the tornado tumbles sometimes. QCS should make my decision a lot easier though.

I hope y'all like Bojangles, cause I already know I'll be serving fresh biscuits at every game! Now to begin thinking of clever pepper/reaper/heat-related puns...
