Here are my name suggestions!
Colorado Wranglers- Honors Colorado's wild west roots
Houston Railmen- Houston was a rail depot before a space hub
New York Generals- A lot of Generals are from the state

Colorado - “Wranglers” might get them in trouble with the Wrangler jean company. How about “Rustlers”?
Houston - Stallions. IOTL, it was one of the suggestions being tossed around for the team that eventually became the Houston Texans. (Save the name “Railmen” for Atlanta.)
New York - Since NYC is a major port city, how about Atlantics?

Just my 2¢

Re: The Story of Driveball

The Denver Larks of the new CDA will their play home games at Bears Stadium, a minor league ballpark with major league dreams.

The Houston Jackalopes of the CDA will play their home games at what would later become Jeppesen Stadium.

Re: The Story of Driveball

Denver and Houston both look great.

Love the simple but classic black and white look for the Larks, and green and silver is really underutilized especially in pro sports.

My favorite thing about both teams though are the names, both Larks and Jackalopes are amazing names that are unique but make sense for both cities, well done!

Re: The Story of Driveball

And to complete the CDA, here is the New York Driveball Club.

Owned by former members of the Albany Capitals and Brooklyn Coasters, they have yet to agree on a nickname. The choices have come down to either the Steeplechasers, Goliaths, Brawlers or Griffins.

I figured since I have San Francisco as the Driveball version of South Melbourne/Sydney, maybe Denver could be Collingwood and Dallas be Geelong or something.

Re: The Story of Driveball

Love the colors and uniforms for New York, of the name options I like Griffins the most, another unique name that I feel fits the city and color scheme well.

Re: The Story of Driveball

As a NewYorker, I like Goliaths. Bringing back Coasters would be cool, NYC is a good short hand.
