The very first franchise to be granted in the yet-to-be-named rival league were the Cincinnati Monarchs, who will play their home games at Crosley Field.

Good job with the Monarchs! I would name the league the Western Driveball Association but with teams in the east, my suggestion is the United States Driveball Association

The second franchise to be granted in the new rival league were the St. Louis Showboats, a wholly owned subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch. The team will play its home games at Sportsman's Park, home to AB's other subsidiary, the MLB Cardinals.

Good job with the Showboats! Weren’t they in the old Driveball thing?

The third franchise to be granted in the rival league were the San Francisco Swans, who will play their home games at Kezar Stadium. The name "Swans" comes from the waterfowl that usually swim at the lagoon next to the Palace of Fine Arts.

Swans is definitely an interesting name for an SF team but I like it! What team should be next?
