With a big win over the Sawblades last week, we remain atop the American Conference thanks to the tiebreaker over the rival Loons. And with the Canadian side of things putting the Owls atop their Conference, the 48ers hold the tiebreaker to sit atop the league. That doesn't mean much right now, as we still have a long way to go before the playoffs, and we need to keep winning to get into those playoffs. That means we stay right here in Milwaukee and welcome in the Wranglers. Calgary hasn't been the best team this season, but they're still a dangerous team. We'll get out the standard gold homes, as we look for another important win. Our featured player this week is defenseman Travis Sanheim. #ThePeoplesTeam

In an exciting game from wire to almost the other wire, the Wildcats couldn't hang on for a win against the Arrows. With our second straight loss, we fall to 5-3 on the year - still a good record, but we'll want to halt this momentum before we slide much further. Next up is the second game of our homestand against the Chevaliers. On the one hand, the Chevs are the defending champs, but on the other hand, we beat them pretty thoroughly when we played earlier this season. Either way, we'll be bringing our A-game, starting with alternate captain D John Carlson, who scored a goal to go along with four assists, three hits, and seven blocks against Winnipeg. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

That's another win for the 48ers, as we hand the Wranglers a loss and keep us in a tie atop the American Division. But we're in store for another test, as we head on the road for some roller hockey and a date with the Sawblades in Portland. We knocked them off in the first game, so we're looking to repeat that performance. We'll be in our ivory road set for this one, and we'll be highlighting defenseman Vince Dunn. Dunn just returned from injury and provided an immediate boost to the team with a pair of goals, a trio of assists, a power play point, a trio of hits and a trio of blocks. #ThePeoplesTeam

The Wildcats finish off a season sweep of the Chevs with a best-in-the-league offensive performance to move to 6-3 on the season. That happens to be the same record as our opponent this week, as we finish off our homestand against the Ottawa Guardians. We're spotlighting W Valeri Nichushkin this week, as he's been really solid since coming back from his suspension to begin the year, and put up three goals and an assist against Montréal. That hat trick awards him the opportunity to show off the Cats' new alternate uniform for the first time, which are all-black and feature an iridescent effect on the crest, name, numbers, and striping. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

Our first game in the new alternates didn't go as planned, as we lost to the Guardians to finish our homestand 1-2. We have to head out on the road for this next one as we head out to Charlotte. The Racers are just 3-7 on the year, so this should be an easier matchup. We'll need to tread lightly though, as another loss could knock us out of the playoff picture. Leading the team to the East Coast is D Mikhail Sergachev, who led the team with four assists (all but one of which came on the power play) and had five blocked shots to go with it. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

Ten weeks into the AltHL season and your team, The People's Team, is sitting at 8-2 and tied atop the whole league. Who are we tied with? Our opponents for this week, the Minnesota Loons. Nothing good comes from Minnesota, and the Loons are coming from there, so clearly, they're no good. We will be in the standard home gold uniforms, and are featuring 3rd line center Jack McBain! #ThePeoplesTeam

Turns out a trip to Charlotte was just what the doctor ordered, as the Wildcats picked up a resounding win in the Queen City. With our one-game road trip now concluded, we head back home for a date with the Milwaukee 48ers in a battle between the two highest-scoring teams in the league. Milwaukee is coming off a loss to the red-hot (and now league-leading) Minnesota Loons, and will be looking to rebound. If we can beat them, though, we'll move into a tie with them for at worst third place, so this is a big one. We'll be highlighting W Zach Hyman this week, as despite getting hit in the nose with a slapshot on Monday, he returned to the game and put up a modest total of ... five goals and an assist. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

We took the loss last week to the Loons, and are now a game back in the American conference. This week we have an easier matchup against... wait, what the hell is this? We face the highest scoring team in the league on the season this week? Whoever made this schedule needed to split games like this up. ANY WAY, we're on the road in this one, as we head to Edmonton to take on the Wildcats. We'll be in the ivory set for this one, and our featured player is winger Mathieu Olivier, who has far too many vowels in his name. #ThePeoplesTeam

The Wildcats picked up another big win, taking down Milwaukee and moving up to third in the overall standings. We'll look to keep this momentum up as we head out on a three-game road trip, starting with a stop in Winnipeg. They beat us in our building earlier this year, and now we'll be looking to return the favour. Featured this week is C/W Jamie Benn, who finished this week with two goals, three assists, and a +6. #WhatTeam #ClawsUp

With our second straight loss, there are rumblings out there that the Milwaukee 48ers are faltering. We're looking to debunk that theory as we head back home to host the Quebec Owls. We didn't have a bad game against the Wildcats, but we were still outclassed. Playing a pretty good game for us in the loss is defenseman Erik Cernak. #ThePeoplesTeam
