League City's Oaks took on Houston's Butchers in today's showdown.
2 members of both side died, but League City proved to be enough and beat Houston 19-14.

That is a low number of [deceased] for a historically high score. This will surely go down in history as the of all time.

A second poem
By houston
Knives in my chest
thrust upon me
inside me
blow upon blow
I lay helpless,
blood, pouring out
of my chest.
There is no solace
There is no respot
There is no recourse
for the blades
flung into my intestines.
I sit
in knots,
waiting,
yearning,
begging for the bleeding to end.
But the wounds fail to heal,
incisions made by the most imprecise doctor,
as I lay out on the table.
No lesson to be learned,
no new interpretation to be experienced,
just knives in my stomach,
as I lay (deceased).
