comes from the wabanaki tribe, major tribe in area, "used to describe the area they lived". idea is Boston was moving from the "indians" nickname but still working with tribes in the area to have a meaningful name, not the biggest fan of dawnland, i like dawn better but unique and wanted to include it.

Boston's football team is a rebrand from "indians". but overall just asking yalls advice and definitely open to other suggestions (year is when the team came into league)

appreciate it, Im redoing all my leagues focusing on some realism and timing differences, adding some alt history here and there, ideally ill end up posting here eventually, all that to say Redwoods were my original sf based team so i might stick with that.

shot in the dark here but anyone have any concepts for a san fran based baseball team, first season was 1950. open to any suggestions, generic or not, have some ideas but nothing hitting the way i want. thanks!

=14pxHey everyone, this is my first real post here so not really sure how much interaction this will get. But to start I am curious if any of you guys have created athletes for a fictional league. And im curious to see/hear them as I have a ton of fictionally created leagues I do and am constantly looking for new players to fill them out. Im not much of a designer yet and get a lot of my team ideas, from either here or internet or just make them up. Ive been doing these "fake" leagues for almost ~ 8 years now and have a lot of different sports, but again just putting this out there to see if you guys have any cool names or payers backstories or player designs and would just love to hear them even if I dont incorporate them in my leagues. Thanks, hope for some interaction lol
